Scuba Diving & Snorkeling
Whether at Playa Manuel Antonio or Playa Biesanz or renting a boat along the coast line of Manuel Antonio you can find hordes of marine life and local different species like: Butterflyfish; Triggerfish or the Parrotfish.
We can help you to arrange a one day trip to the reefs of Isla Del Cano in Drake Bays where you can enjoy an amazing variety of marine life at Cano Island Biological Reserve or if you prefer to go to Marino Balena National Park, you just need 35 minutes driving.
The Pacific has the country's best diving, with less coral, but plenty of big fish. There is also usually good snorkeling off the second beach in Manuel Antonio National Park, and around the points and Islands between Dominical and Marino Ballena National Park.
Underwater "National Park Marino Ballena"
La Palapa Eco Lodge Resort, organizes trips to Scuba Diving to the underwater "National Park Marino Ballena", south of Playa Dominical which is Costa Rica "only" totally underwater "National Park Marino Ballena". Here it is possible to see a pristine and virgin underwater world, with scores of multi-colorful marine creatures, coral reefs, colored coral fish and jagged, ash black, volcanic rocks and tide pools.
